Window
regulators
and con-
trols are confined in the space between the uphol-
stery and the outside door panel. Easy
access
to
the working parts may be made by
removing
the
trim. Door weatherstrips and rubber hood bump-
ers should be lightly coated with a rubber lubri-
cant.
CLEANING TRUCKS
Exterior
Frequent washing
and a
thorough cleaning
after exposure are recommended to prevent
dam-
age to vehicle finish from calcium chloride and
other salts, road
tar,
insects, tree
sap,
factory
chemicals and other foreign matter. Use either
cold or lukewarm water, Never wash vehicle in
the direct
rays of
the
sun and always
wait until
painted surfaces have cooled.
Interior
A damp cloth will wipe dust from hard
surfaces.
Remove upholstery
stains as soon
as possible
before they set and become difficult to
remove.
Washday detergents or the several cleaners
and
spot removers available from your authorized

are recommended for the different
types
of stains.
CAUTION: When cleaning interior fabrics or
carpeti ng, do not use volatile cleaning
sol-
vents such as: acetone,
lacquer
thinners,
carbon
tetrachloride,
enamel reducers, nail
polish removers, or laundry soaps, bleaches
and reducing agents. NEVER USE GASOLINE
OR NAPHTHA FOR ANY CLEANING PURPOSE.
Extended Vehicle Storage
If you plan
to
store your
truck
over an extended
period of time,
certain
steps should
be taken to
give
it maximum protection.
It
