The 20-30 Series step van hood is released by
pulling the release lever. The lever should be held
up until the lock mechanism clears the safety
catch. Immediately upon opening, the hood should
be held open with a rod stored at the front of the
engine. Insert the rod end into a hole provided
on the underside of the hood.
When closed the hood is secured by a cam-type
lock and rests on two adjustable rubber bumpers.
Engine Covers And Access Doors
CAUTION: When running engine . . . keep
engine cover
closed.

Forward Control P-IO Models
Hinged engine cover can be opened for access to
engine oil filler and dipstick, crankcase breather,
air cleaner, carburetor, distributor, and battery.
Cooling system filler is accessible from under
the engine hood at the front of vehicle.
Fuel tank filler is located in a recessed area in
left rear side of body.
