JACKING INSTRUCTIONS
CAUTION: Before jacking up the truck,
firmly
set the
park
ing
brake and block the wheel
diagonally opposite from the jack position.
Jack and tools
are stored with the
spare
tire behind
seat or secured in
corner of
cab.

Wheel Nut Torques-10-30
Series
On a
new
vehicle or after the
wheel
has been
changed,
the wheel nut torque must be checked
at 100,
1,000
and 6,000 miles and every 6,000
miles
thereafter.

CAUTION: When removing wheel rim, loosen all
nuts approximately flush with end of stud, then
tap
clamp to loosen
rim.
Do not remove nuts until
clamps are free or
clamp
may fly off of stud. When
installing
rim,
tighten
attaching nuts alternately
and evenly to avoid excessive wheel run-out.
