Illustration 5 : Using the cursors for measurement

Your oscilloscope can measure 28 waveform parameters
automatically. All auto parameters can be measured with the cursors.
By using the cursors, you can quickly measure the time and voltage of a
waveform.
Measuring one step voltage of the step signal
To measure one step voltage of the step signal, follow the steps below :
1.
Press [CURSOR] to display the cursor measurement menu.
2.
Press menu operation key [F1] to set cursor type to VOLTAGE.
3.
Turn the multifunction control knob to set cursor 1 at one step
voltage of the step signal.
4.
Press [PUSH SELECTED] to select the cursor, then turn the
multifunction control knob again to set cursor 2 at another step
voltage of the step signal.
The cursor menu will automatically display the V value, i.e. the voltage
difference of that point. See the figure below.
Note :
When using the cursors to measure time, follow step 2
only and set the cursor type to time.
