QinQ configuration examples

Basic QinQ configuration example

Network requirements
As shown in
Figure
Provider A and Provider B are edge switches on the service provider network and are interconnected
through trunk ports. They belong to SVLAN 10 and 50.
Customer A1, Customer A2, Customer B1 and Customer B2 are edge switches on the customer
network.
Third-party switches with a TPID value of 0x8200 are deployed between Provider A and Provider B.
Make configuration to satisfy the following requirements:
Frames of VLAN 200 through VLAN 299 can be exchanged between Customer A1 and Customer
A2 through VLAN 10 of the service provider network.
Frames of VLAN 250 through VLAN 350 can be exchanged between Customer B1 and Customer
B2 through VLAN 50 of the service provider network.

Configuration procedure
Make sure that the switches in the service provider network have been configured to allow QinQ packets
to pass through.
