REMOVING THE ROCKER AND
CAMSHAFT
1. Loosen:
• Locknut "1"
• Screw adjustment valve clearance "2"
• Rocker "3"

2. Remove:
• Camshaft "1"
NOTE:
8-mm screw "2" on the threaded end of
camshaft and then remove the camshaft.

CAMSHAFT INSPECTION

1. Check:
•
Camshaft lobes
Blue discoloration / pitting /
Replace scratched the camshaft.
2. Measure:
• Dimension of the lobes
"A" and "b"
Out of specification Replace
camshaft.
