REMOVING THE ROCKER ARMS AND CAM-
SHAFT

Remove the rocker arm shafts with the slide
hammer bolt 1 and weight 2 .
3. Remove:
NOTE:
Screw a 8 mm bolt 3 into the threaded end of
the camshaft and then pull out the camshaft.

Damage/wear  Replace.
D camshaft lobes
Blue discoloration/pitting/scratches  Re-
place the camshaft.
D camshaft lobe dimensions a and b
Out of specification  Replace the cam-
shaft.
Camshaft lobe dimension limit
Intake
a 26.190 mm
b #1: 21.045 mm
#2: 21.087 mm
Exhaust
a 26.190 mm
b #1: 21.087 mm
