SmartNode 4830 Getting Started Guide
A model-code extension indicates the combination of ports the IAD model provides. The model-code conven-
tions are, according to the following conventions:
JS indicates FXS ports are present
JO indicates FXO ports are present
X stands for the type of WAN interface present. It can take the following values:

C (V.35)

D (X.21)
-
K (E1 RJ48C plus dual coax)

T (T1 RJ48C)
-
AYA (ADSL Annex A RJ11)

AYB (ADSL Annex B RJ11),

G (G.SHDSL RJ11)
EUI stands for external universal input power supply (see

For example, the model code SN4836/4JS2JOD/EUI describes a SmartNode configured as follows:
