Changing needle seals

Removing needle seals
1. Removing the fluid needle (

2. Unscrew the clamping screw ( Fig. 17/4) with a box spanner.
3. Remove the grooved ring ( Fig. 17/5) from the clamping screw ( Fig. 17/4).
4. Remove the bracket ( Fig. 17/2) and grooved ring ( Fig. 17/1) from the bracket ( Fig. 17/2) .
5. Check the condition of the O-ring ( Fig. 17/3), replace if necessary.
6. Replace the grooved rings ( Fig. 17/1 and 5).
Inserting the needle seals
1. Insert the grooved ring ( Fig. 17/1) into the bracket ( Fig. 17/2). Here, make sure that the
grooved ring ( Fig. 18/1) is in the correct position.

2. Insert the bracket ( Fig. 17/2) with the grooved ring ( Fig. 17/1) into the main element (
Fig. 17/9) .
3. Make sure that the O-ring ( Fig. 17/3) fits correctly on the clamping screw ( Fig. 17/4).
4. Insert the grooved ring ( Fig. 17/5) onto the clamping screw ( Fig. 17/4). Here, make sure
that the grooved ring ( Fig. 18/5) is in the correct position.
5. Insert the clamping screw ( Fig. 17/4) into the main element ( Fig. 17/9) and tighten with a
box spanner.
