IMPORTANT SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions must always be implemented as listed
below:
41. Read all the directions before using the appliance.
42. Do not touch hot surfaces. Always use oven gloves when handling the hot
bread container or bread.
43. To avoid an electric shock, do not immerse the cable, plug or bread maker in water or
other liquid.
44. This appliance must not be used by children.
45. Close attention must be paid when any kind of appliance is used by or in the vicinity of children.
46. Remove the plug from the socket when the appliance is not in use and before cleaning the
appliance. Allow it to cool down before its parts are immersed in water or removed.
47. Avoid touching moving parts.
48. Never use any kind of appliance if the cable or plug is damaged or if the appliance functions in
a faulty manner or has been damaged in any way whatsoever. The appliance must be repaired,
tested or adjusted at an authorised service workshop.
49. Use of additional parts not recommended by the manufacturer of the appliance is not advised
and this could lead to damage.
50. Do not use this appliance outdoors.
51. Do not allow the cable to hang over a table or counter or touch hot surfaces.
52. Do not place this appliance near hot gas or electrical heaters or in a warm oven.
53. Extreme care must be taken when moving an appliance that contains heated oil or other
warm fluids.
54. To stop this appliance, press STOP, grip the plug and pull it out of the socket. Never pull the
cable.
55. Do not use this appliance for any purpose other than its intended use.
56. This appliance is solely for household use.
57. To avoid damaging the appliance, do not place the bread container or any other object on top
of the unit.
58. Do not clean with abrasive material. The bread container and kneading blade have non-
stick coating.
59. Do not use the bread maker for storage and do not plug it into any equipment that
could cause a fire or electric shock.
