If you wish to stop measurement
for any reason, simply press the
blue START/STOP button. The
infl ation or measuring procedure
is interrupted and an automatic
fall in pressure occurs.
As pressure in the cuff decreases,
the heart symbol and the falling
cuff pressure are displayed.
A beep indicates the end of
measurement. Then the systolic
and diastolic blood pressure
values appear simultaneously on
the display, with the pulse rate
beneath them (see fi g.).

5.1 Saving the measured values
The device features two memory
buttons, M1 and M2, to store
readings for two different persons.
M1 represents the measured values
for a fi rst person and M2 represents
the measured values for a second
person.
When a beep indicates the end of
measurement, you may press M1 or
M2 to apply the measured value to
the respective person. This
assignment can be made as long
as the values are displayed. If you
do not apply them, the measured
value is automatically stored to the
displayed memory.
