2.12 Loading Roll Paper into the Built-In Printer (Option)
Loading the Roll Paper
A roll paper cutter is present inside the printer unit cover. Be careful of the cutter so as to
avoid injuring your fingers or hands.
• Do not insert your fingers into the opening on the printer unit (the roll paper ejection hole).
• When you have opened the printer unit cover to place roll paper in the holder, avoid
touching the cutter with your fingers and hands.
Do not touch the print head and print motor with your fingers and hands. Doing so when these
parts are extremely hot may lead to burns.
1. Slide the lever to the right to make the printer unit
protrude from the WT1800.

3. Hold the top, bottom, and right side of the printer
unit, and then pull it toward you until it stops (pull
the unit approximately 5 cm).
5. Pull approximately 10 cm of the roll paper out, and load the roll paper in the holder so that the thermal side of the
paper is facing up. Load the paper so that it passes through the guides.

2. Insert your finger into the groove on the right side
of the printer unit.
4. Hold the left and right sides of the printer unit's
tray with your hands, and push the right and left
sides of the front of the cover with your thumbs to
raise it.

Load the roll paper into the holder so that
the thermal side of the paper is facing up.

Hold the cover as indicated in the
figure, and push the cover up.
