Load Firmware

Your NetGuardian 480 ships with the correct firmware already installed. You will need to upload firmware to the
unit only if updated firmware is released. It is recommended that you upload firmware using the T/NG480
software included with the NetGuardian 480. The NetGuardian 480 G2 is capable of doing firmware upgrades
via LAN or Serial connection.
To update NetGuardian 480 G2 firmware, use the following instructions:
1. Open the T/NG480 main menu.
2. Click the Firmware Load icon (For NetGuardian 480 G1 units, see instructions below)
3. Use the Browse button to find the NetGuardian 480 Firmware file.
4. Click the .tsk file.
5. Click Start to load firmware.
