■ Radio Settings items

Scan Type
The transceiver has 2 scan types. Select Normal Scan and
Priority Scan.
• Normal Scan: Scans all Favorite channels in the selected
channel group.
• Priority Scan: S equentiallyscansallFavoritechannels,
whilemonitoringChannel16.
L The default setting differs, depending on the transceiver version.
Scan Timer
You can use the Scan Timer to pause, or to resume after 5
seconds,whenasignalisdetected.
• On: When a signal is detected on a channel, the scan
pauses for 5 seconds, and then resumes. If the
signal disappears in less than 5 seconds, the scan
immediately resumes.
• Off: When a signal is detected on a channel, the scan
pauses until the signal disappears, and then resumes.
Dual/Tri-watch
SelectDualwatchorTri-watch.
• Daulwatch:  M onitorsChannel16whilereceivingon
another channel.
• Tri-watch:  M onitorsChannel16andtheCallchannel
whilereceivingonanotherchannel.

function.Thesquelchopens.
Youcanselectwhetherthesquelchcloseswhenyourelease
[VOL/SQL],orwhenyoupushanykey.

• Hold: Thesquelchstaysopenuntilyoupushanykey.
