9. Install the plaster shield assembly onto the housing and verify that the surface of the plaster
shield is level with the finished surface. If the housing was not installed level in step 4, use
the plaster ring to achieve a level finished surface by pulling up on the edge of the plaster ring
until level. See images below for reference.

10. Apply and smooth out plaster around the edge of the plaster shield as seen below. The
surface of the plaster should be even with the finished surface level.
