How To Install Top Tether - Britax safe-n-sound Instructions For Installation & Use

(SEATBELT INSTALLATION)
Ensure the top tether strap is tightened, attached to the
upper anchorage point and that the straps are the same
length on both sides of attachment clip. See fitting the top
tether, on page 35.
The top tether strap is positioned around
the Side Impact cushion (if required).
The top tether strap should have
slack removed and be in-line with the
anchorage or top of the seat back.
Do not use this
slot for rearward
facing installation
DO NOT USE RESTRAINT IN REARWARD FACING MODE
WITHOUT STABILISING BAR FULLY EXTENDED.
THE TOP TETHER STRAP MUST ALWAYS BE FITTED WHEN THE
CHILD RESTRAINT IS USED IN A VEHICLE.
ALWAYS ATTACH THE HOOK AND REMOVE THE SLACK.

HOW TO INSTALL TOP TETHER

Engage the lock-offs to prevent the seatbelt from
becoming loose.
Do not use the lock-off if the seat buckle interferes.
Attachment Clip
Car's upper anchorage point
Front of Vehicle
Pull sash portion of seatbelt
to remove slack.
Feed seatbelt between
restraint cover and restraint
body (see page 33).
