HOW TO INSTALL TOP TETHER
D. Fit the top tether attachment clip to the anchor fitting as
shown. Make sure to remove as many twists as possible
from the top tether strap. Refer to the car owners handbook
for the location of the child restraint upper anchorage fitting.
Always attach the hook and remove slack
E. Tighten adjustable top tether strap by pulling adjustment
strap to remove slack as shown, but do not over-tighten
causing the restraint base to lift off the vehicle seat.
F. Fold up excess strap and use the storage pocket to store
excess strap behind seat away from child's reach.
CAUTION:
CHILDREN CAN BE INJURED OR RESTRAINTS AND TOP TETHER STRAP DAMAGED BY
UNSECURED CARGO IN A COLLISION. SECURE OR REMOVE HAZARDOUS CARGO BEFORE
USING THIS CHILD RESTRAINT.
