„ Set usage restrictions for each user
The use of copy, submission, scan, and print modes can be set for each user.
For example, design department users are allowed to all modes while restricting
accounting department users to copy and print modes.
„ Grasp of the usage status of each user
With user authentication, a job log is used to see who used what, when, and how
much, which allows to investigate inappropriate printer usage outside of work
hours, etc.
In addition, by using the included software (job log display tool*), you can calculate
the usage amount of each user.

„ Print from a specified computer without authentication
In the print mode with user authentication, the Printer prints the data only sent
from the printer drivers.
Generally, print data not from a printer driver connected is completely deleted
from the Printer.
However, if host environments other than the printer driver connection are
present, like personal computers or work stations, the Printer can be set to print the
data sent from a specified computer without authentication.
Up to 3 specified computers can be configured.
„ Print print data received from a specified port without authentication
Only 3 hosts can be configured in the authentication settings for specified
computers. However, if there are more than three hosts without a printer driver
connection, it is possible to configure the settings to print print data sent to an
allocated port without authentication.
If Auth. Required is set, print authentication is performed.
If Auth. Not Required is set, printing is performed without print authentication.
