6.11.2 Using the tip-assist

1) At an obstacle, place one foot on the tip-assist (see fig. 44) and push down.
2) Slightly tip the wheelchair by simultaneously pressing down on the push handles.

6.12 Wheelbase extension

Wheelbase extension for the handbike adaption
CAUTION
Inactive wheel lock after adjustment of rear wheels
Risk of falling or collision due to lack of brake functionality
► If the wheelbase extension is used in combination with a double axle, there is no braking function available
when the rear wheels are moved to the rear axle (e.g. for adaptation to a handbike). Inform the user.
This wheelbase extension option version is intended especially for the adaption of handbikes (see fig. 45).
For an adapted handbike the rear wheels must be moved from the front axle (see fig. 46, item 1) to the rear axle
(see fig. 46, item 2).
