Make sure that no liquid enters the meter. Avoid scratching the measuring optics.

Check whether you can see any
dirt inside the tip of the cassette.
If so, remove this carefully.
If the measuring optics are
visibly soiled, clean the inside of
the meter.

Carefully dab the measuring
optics and the front opening of
the meter with a slightly
dampened cotton swab.

Leave the cassette compartment
cover open and close the tip
cover.
