Checking the valve
1. Check the down-main valve 1 and up-
main valve 2. Clean if there is dirt or res-
idue.
2. Check the down-relief valve 3, up-relief
valve 4, and absorber valve pin 5.
Clean if there is dirt or residue.

1. Check the gear pump filter 1 and shuttle
piston filters 2. Clean if there is dirt or
residue.

Checking the gear pump
1. Check the drive gear a, driven gear b,
and shaft c. Replace the gear pump
assembly, if damaged or worn.

Do not use a rag when assembling the
PTT unit because dust and particles on
the PTT unit components can lead to
poor performance.
9 Do not reuse the O-rings, always replace
them with new ones.
1. Install the drive gear a, driven gear b,
shaft c, and pins 1 into the gear pump
housing d.
2. Install the balls 2 into the gear pump
housing d.
3. Install the circlips 3, main valve seals
4, a new O-ring 5, down-main valve 6,
up-main valve 7, and springs 8.
4. Install a new O-ring 9, up-relief valve 0,
and ball q (X transom).
5. Install the gear pump cover e.
