5-Hour Engine Oil and Filter Replacement

The Can-Am DS 450 series is the most advanced sport ATV and it has been
designed using the latest technology all the way down to its synthetic multi-layer
oil filter and break-in oil. To maintain your DS 450 X mx at the highest level of
performance, change the engine break-in oil and filter after using 3 fuel tanks
or 5 hours of riding (whichever comes first). Contact an authorized Can-Am
dealer for more details.

10-Hour Inspection

We suggest that after the first 10 hours or 400 km (250 mi) of operation, whichever
comes first, your vehicle be inspected by an authorized Can-Am dealer. This in-
spection is very important and must not be neglected.
NOTE: The 10-hour inspection is at the expense of the vehicle owner.
We recommend that this inspection be signed by an authorized Can-Am dealer.
