MAINTENANCE PROCEDURES
Recommended Oil
NOTE: The same oil lubricates both
engine and transmission.
Use only XPS SYNTHETIC BLEND OIL
(SUMMER GRADE) (P/N 293 600 121).
This is a special synthetic oil formu-
lated for wet clutch type gearbox.
NOTICE
The XPS synthetic blend
oil is specially formulated and tested
for the severe requirements of this
engine. Do not use other synthe-
tic oil, synthetic blend oil or oil ad-
ditives in Can-Am ATV wet clutch
equipped vehicles. There is no
known equivalent on the market
for the moment. If a high quality
equivalent were available, it could
be used.
Oil Change and Oil Filter
Replacement
Oil and filter are to be replaced at the
same time. Oil change should be done
with a warm engine.
CAUTION The engine oil can
be very hot. Wait until engine oil is
warm.
