Removing the Processor

Prerequisites

1. Remove the stand
2. Remove the back cover.
3. Remove the system-board
4. Remove the processor
5. Remove the processor

Procedure

1. Press the release lever down on the processor cover and then pull it outwards to release it from the
tab that secures it.
2. Extend the release lever completely to open the processor cover.
3. Gently lift the processor and remove it from the processor socket.
