Enlarge/Reduce and Print Matching Output Media Size

By specifying the media type loaded in the printer, the image can be enlarged or reduced to fit the size of the image
area of the media. This feature is useful when you need to print on the full width of Media that you have selected.
When you need to print on the full width of roll media, see "Enlarge/Reduce and Print Matching Width of Roll Pa-
per."

When you do the procedure below to print on roll media, the print job will match the size of the output with the media
selected with the Paper Size setting.

Display the Page Setup sheet.

Select the size of the media that you want to print in Paper Size.
This is not displayed when a checkmark is placed in Borderless Printing.
Note
This is not displayed when Fit Roll Paper Widthis set in Enlarged/Reduced Printing.

Select either Portrait or Landscape as the media orientation for the image in Orientation.
When you select Portrait, the image on the media prints as it appears on the screen.

When you select Landscape, the image on the media prints rotated 90 degrees.

Click the Enlarged/Reduced Printing check box on.
This is not displayed when a checkmark is placed in Borderless Printing.

Select Fit Paper Size.

Click the Print button.
The image prints filling the entire output media surface.

Enlarge/Reduce and Print Matching Width of Roll Paper

You can enlarge/reduce and print an image matching the width of the roll paper set in the printer. This is useful
when you wish to print an image that covers the entire width of the roll paper.
Printing will not occur properly when a print roll is not set to the printer.
