(4) Starter Safety System

The ECU can be configured for either auto cranking (crank until starting) or crank limiting (maximum crank time
and disabling of starter if frequency and number of attempts is too high).

[2] CHARGING SYSTEM

(1) General

The function of the charging device is to charge batteries.

(2) IC Regulator Built-in Type Alternator

The alternator is the incorporated with an IC
regulator, this has been made small size and light weight
by the semiconductor technique of the IC regulator.
The cooling property and safety is improved by
incorporating the cooling fan and roller that is an integral
structure.
Further, the serviceability is also improved by
facilitating mounting and removal of the rectifier and IC
regulator.
