Controllo filtro aria

Ruotare in senso antiorario il perno posteriore (1), rimuoverlo ed estrarre la sella
svincolandola dalla vite di fissaggio anteriore. Togliere le viti (2) di fissaggio del
pannello laterale destro, il pan nello destro le viti(3) ed il coperchio scatola filtro.
Rimuovere il filtro aria (4).
Pulizia filtro
Pulire il filtro con solvente non infiammabile.
Non torcere l'elemento del filtro per eliminare il solvente.
Non usare benzina o solventi similari a basso tenore di infiammabilità
per pulire il filtro, poichè può verificarsi un incendio o una esplosione.
Oliare l'elemento filtrante con olio per filtri aria e schiacciarlo
leggermente tra il palmo delle mani per ottenere un assorbimento
uniforme.
Montaggio
Mettere del grasso sul bordo del filtro dal lato dell'alloggiamento per ottenere
una buona tenuta.
Attendere circa 10 minuti prima di montare il coperchio per far
evaporare il solvente nell'olio del filtro.
Montare il coperchio sul filtro.
In caso di uso del motociclo in gare su terreno sabbioso o fangoso,
chiudere con del nastro adesivo le aperture che si trovano sulla scatola
filtro.

Air filter check

Turn rear pin (1) anticlockwise and remove it; remove the saddle by freeing it
from the front screw. Remove the two screws (2) which fasten the right side
panel; remove the panel and the three screws (3) which fasten the filter box
cover. Remove the cover and the air filter (4).
Filter cleaning
Clean filter with non-inflammable cleaning solvent.
Be careful not to twist filter element when removing cleaning solvent.
Never use petrol or similar product having a low flash point to clean air
filter, as a fire or explosion may result.
Grease the filter element with air filter oil and, to ensure for proper
homogeneous absorption, squeeze filter lightly in your hands.
Assembly
To ensure tight fit, slightly grease filter edge on side facing filter housing.
Wait ten minutes before assembling cover to allow solvent left in air filter
to evaporate.
Assemble air filter bracket and cover.
When running on sandy or muddy ground, close with adhesive tape the
openings on the filter box.
