SPURGO IMPIANTO FRENANTE ANTERIORE

Lo spurgo dell'impianto frenante deve essere effettuato dopo la
sostituzione del fluido o quando, a causa della presenza di aria nel
circuito, la corsa della leva diventa lunga ed elastica.
Nell'impianto frenante anteriore lo spurgo deve avvenire prima sul
comando sul manubrio (valvola di spurgo 1)poi sulla pinza (valvola
di spurgo 1A): le operazioni da effettuare sono le stesse. Procedere
nel modo seguente.
- Togliere il cappuccio in gomma sulla valvola di spurgo (1) o (1A).
- Applicare un tubetto trasparente in plastica sulla valvola di spurgo
della pinza ed inserire l'altra estremità del tubetto in un contenitore
(accertarsi che durante l'intera operazione l'estremità del tubetto sia
costantemente immersa nel fluido).
- Togliere il coperchio (2) del serbatoio fluido, il soffietto in gomma e
riempire il serbatoio con fluido fresco.
- Allentare la valvola di spurgo ed azionare ripetutamente la leva
sino a quando si noterà, dal tubetto trasparente, la fuoriuscita di
fluido chiaro e senza bolle: a questo punto chiudere la valvola di
spurgo.
- Ripristinare il livello (A) del fluido e rimontare il soffietto in gomma
ed il coperchio del serbatoio.
ATTENZIONE!
Durante l'operazione di spurgo, il livello del fluido all'interno del
serbatoio non deve mai trovarsi al di sotto della tacca di minimo.
Coppia di serraggio per la valvola di spurgo 1,2 ÷ 1,6 kgm (12 ÷ 16
Nm; 8.8 ÷ 11.8 ft-lb).
FRONT BRAKING SYSTEM BLEEDING
The braking system must be bled after the fluid replacement or when,
due to air in the circuit, the lever stroke is long and spongy.
Regarding the front braking system, first proceed to bleed the upper
braking system control (bleeding valve 1), then the brake caliper
(bleeding valve 1A).
In both cases, proceed as follows:
- Remove the rubber cap on the bleeding valve (1) or (1A).
- Attach a clear plastic hose to the bleeding valve on the brake
caliper and turn the other end of the hose into a container (make
sure that the end of the hose is submerged in brake fluid during the
entire bleeding operation).
- Remove fluid reservoir cap (2), the rubber and fill the reservoir with
fresh brake fluid.
- Open the bleeding valve and pump with brake lever several times
until the fluid, clear and without bubbles, comes out of the hose: now
close the bleeding valve.
- Restore the brake fluid level (A) then reassemble the rubber and the
fluid reservoir cap.
WARNING!
During the bleed operation the fluid level inside the reservoir must
never be lower than the minimum level.
Tightening torque for bleed valve is 1,2 ÷ 1,6 kgm (12 ÷ 16 Nm; 8.8
÷ 11.8 ft-lb).
