8.2.5 The following faults shall be
indicated at least by means of the general
fault warning indicator:
a any short-circuit or interruption in a

Compliance
Plena Voice Alarm System fault
indicators are not suppressed.
There are separate indicators for
fault and voice alarm conditions.
The only exception is the audible
indicator.
All transmission paths of the Plena
Voice Alarm System are
supervised.
When the Plena Voice Alarm
System is used in a redundant loop
configuration, the loss of the
redundant path is reported.
All control input contacts of the
Plena Voice Alarm System can be
supervised for shorts and
interruptions.
Analog audio connections to
external parties can be supervised
by pilot tone supervision.
The capsule of the Plena Voice
Alarm System emergency
microphone can be supervised for
both short-circuit and interruption.
This is configurable.
The loudspeaker lines of the Plena
Voice Alarm System can be
supervised.
