Fit exhaust gas sound muffler to cowl
– Slide the clamp (15) onto the extraction duct (5).
– Fit the exhaust gas sound muffler (4) to the cowl (gas-tight
side facing heater – indicated by O-ring – 13).
– The exhaust gas sound muffler (4) must be pushed as far
as it will go into the exhaust duct connection (14).
– Check from the outside that exhaust gas sound muffler (4)
is firmly seated in connection (14).
– Secure exhaust gas sound muffler (4) in connection (14)
with screw (3.5 x 13).
– Slide extraction duct (5) onto extraction duct connection (16)
as far as it will go and secure with clamp (15). For lengths
exceeding 60 cm, secure to wall with at least one ZRS clamp
(part no. 39590-00).

Please ensure that the exhaust gas sound muffler is
firmly seated in the exhaust duct connection before in-
stalling the cowl cover.
Then secure the cowl cover (17) to the outer part of cowl (8)
with 4 screws.

Fit exhaust gas sound muffler to heater
Make bends in exhaust duct that are needed to make in-
stallation easier before fitting to the cowl / heater (sam-
ple installation).
– Slide clamp (22) onto extraction duct (5).
Always connect gas-tight adapter (18) of exhaust
gas sound muffler (4) to heater. Replace damaged
O-ring (13).
– Slide adapter (18) of exhaust gas sound muffler (4) into con-
nection (19) of heater as far as it will go.
– Hook the CBD exhaust duct fitting (20) into the
connection (19).
– Check that the exhaust gas sound muffler (4) is firmly
seated.
– Slide extraction duct (5) onto connection (21) and secure
with clamp (22).

Always fit new O-ring (13) to adapter (18) of exhaust
gas sound muffler (4) after dismantling!
Fit air intake muffler to cowl
Fit long connecting end of air intake muffler (7) to cowl and
attach short end to heater.
– Determine required installation length (shorten long con-
necting end if necessary depending on installation situation).
– Slide clamp (24) onto air intake muffler (7).
– Slide air intake muffler (7) onto connection (23) as far as it
will go and secure with clamp (24).
