Check that Nos. 1 and 4 pistons are at T .O.C.
by examining the flywheel.

Check through tbe inspection hole that the
scribed line marked .. S " on the fuel pump adaptor
is in line with the scribed line on the pointer of the
fuel pump (See Fig. N.2).
Sbould tbc scribed lines mentioned above not
coincide, adjustment CaD be made by slackcning
tbe three setscrews in tbe ccntre of tbe fuel pump
gear, tben turning thc fuel pump adaptor in thc
direction required.
To obtam access to tbe setscrews removc tbe
plate on thc front uf tbe timing case cover.
