6.13.3 Preparing for transport

1) Lift and position the power wheelchair in its transport
location.
INFORMATION: To lift or carry the power wheel­
chair, use the eyebolts in the front and back on the
frame.
2) Turn the control unit off (see Page 23).
3) Engage the brake (see Page 31).
4) Use the eyebolts and cargo straps to attach the power
wheelchair to the transport vehicle.

6.14.1 Safety Instructions

WARNING
Use as a seat in a wheelchair accessible vehicle
Risk of falling out of the power wheelchair, severe injury in
case of accident
► Always use the seats and restraint systems in the
wheelchair accessible vehicle first. This is the only way
to provide optimal protection for the occupants in case
of accident.
