Installation
Warning
•
Always switch off the system before connecting to, or disconnecting from any
attached units.
Attaching to an Inserter
When installing the Thin Booklet Feeder directly to the
inserter, install the module in the following manner:
1.
Disconnect the inserter connecting cable from
the feeder.
Put the connecting cable to the right hand side
of the feeder.
2.
Lift the feeder and uncouple it from the inserter.
Move the feeder to create enough space for the
Thin Booklet Feeder.
3.
Place both hands under the left and right-hand
side panel of the Thin Booklet Feeder.
4.
Lift the Thin Booklet Feeder above the fixing plates and lower it until it locks into place.
Both sides are now locked.
5.
Place both hands under the left and right-hand side panel of the feeder module.
6.
Lift the feeder above the Thin Booklet Feeder fixing plates and lower it until it locks into
place. Both sides are now locked.
Connection Cable
1.
Connect the 12-pole connector of the inserter to the 12-pole socket located on the
right-hand side of the feeder.
2.
Connect the 12-pole connector of the Thin Booklet Feeder to the 12-pole socket of the
feeder.
Power Inlet
The power inlet is located on the right-hand side of the feeder and contains the main fuse.
