TROUBLESHOOTING
When the main switch is turn "ON", the indicator light does not come on or flashing.
1 Check the fuses.
(Main, ignition and backup)
Refer to "CHECKING THE FUSES"
on page 8-131.

2 Check the battery.
Refer to "CHECKING AND
CHARGING THE BATTERY" on
page 8-132.

3 Check the main switch.
Refer to "CHECKING THE
SWITCHES" on page 8-127.

4 Check the entire immobilizer sys-
tem's wiring.
Refer to "CIRCUIT DIAGRAM" on
page 8-79.

• Check the condition of the each
immobilizer system's circuits.
• Refer to "SELF-DIAGNOSIS FAULT
CODE INDICATION" on page 8-86.

Replace the fuse(s).

• Clean the battery terminals.
• Recharge or replace the battery.

Replace the immobilizer kit.

Properly connect or repair the immobi-
