Ascom d81 DECT Handset
• Man-down warning angle
Determines the angle the handset must be tilted to trigger the Man-down alarm.
• No-movement alarm
Determines if the No-movement alarm is enabled or disabled.
• No-movement detection time
Determines when the warning phase starts after No-movement alarm is triggered.
• Warning phase duration
Determines the time before the warning phase is ended and the alarm is sent.
• NM-MD extra delay used
Determines if detection time for man-down and no-movement alarms are extended.
• NM-MD extra delay time
Determines how long time the extended detection time is for man-down and no-
movement alarms.

• ALS
• Mode for automatic call after alarm
The call can be established in the following modes;
- Off: No automatic call after alarm
- Normal: the call is established as an ordinary call.
- Loudspeaking: the loudspeaker on the backside of the handset is turned on.
- Monitoring: a one-way speech channel is established, that is, the called part can only
listen to an conversation.
• Turn off NM-MD during call
Determines if the Man-down alarm and No-movement alarm is disabled during a call.

5.30 Sound Settings for Calls
The ring volume and ring signal for calls can be set.
5.30.1 Set Ring Volume

Select Settings > Sound and Alerts.

In the Ring Volume drop-down list, select the ring volume to be used.
5.30.2 Set Ring Signal

Select Settings > Sound and Alerts.

In the call drop-down lists, select the ring signal to be used for the different calls.

In the Internal Call/External Call/Callback/PTT Call drop-down lists; select the ring
signal to be used for the incoming call, respectively.

1. The ALS is not activated if an automatic call is established after an alarm has been sent.
