1.1.1 Removing flange shaft oil seal
Carry out procedure as follows:
– Remove noise insulation tray.
– Place drip tray underneath.
– Mark position of -nuts- that are used for bolting suspension link
onto wheel bearing housing.
Relocate this position during assembly if at all possible.
– Unscrew suspension link from wheel bearing housing.
– Press drive shaft out of gearbox. This procedure is described
in ⇒ Rep. Gr. 40 ; Repairing drive shafts; Removing and in‐
stalling drive shafts .
