Feature buttons provide quick access to commonly used features. See the following table for
descriptions.
(Speaker)

Button
(Special)
Activates features while on active calls. Depending on how your system
is configured, you may need to press this button before you dial a
feature code.
(Up)
(Down) Provides volume control for the ringer, handset, and speaker.
Scrolls through feature options.
Activates Handsfree Mode (speakerphone). See "Using Handsfree
Mode" on
Activates features.
(Hold)
Places the current call on hold.
Selects an outside line or answers a call.
Answers an intercom (internal) call.
Mutes the microphone.
Left/backspace when entering dialpad characters. See "Using the
Dialpad Buttons to Enter Characters" on
Turns DND mode on or off. See "Using Do-Not-Disturb" on
Selects a page zone to place a page.
Views or accesses Station Speed-Dial numbers.
Views or accesses System Speed-Dial numbers.
Redials a telephone number or saves the last number dialed.
Places a conference call.
Transfers the current call.
Connects to inter-station and voice messages.
Toggles between Alpha Mode and Numeric Mode when entering dialpad
characters.
Forwards the call to the specified number.
Right/forward when entering dialpad characters. See "Using the Dialpad

Answers calls.
Selects an outgoing line for external calls.
