Millivolt Board Installation - kozy heat Dassel DSL-36-RF Installation And Operation Manual

WARNING: DO NOT OPERATE THIS FIREPLACE WITHOUT
THE SEALING GASKET (LOCATED UNDER THE MILLIVOLT
BOARD) IN PLACE. IF THE GASKETING IS DAMAGED, IT MUST
BE REPLACED.
1. Place millivolt board in firebox,
aligning the holes in the millivolt
board with holes in the firebox
bottom. MAKE SURE SEALING
GASKET IS IN PLACE ON
FIREBOX BOTTOM! Secure
millivolt board to firebox bottom
with the (8) screws previously
removed.
2. Install burner / burner heat shield
assembly, making sure that the
burner venturi is seated over the
millivolt board orifice and the pilot
assembly is above the burner.
3. Reinstall refractory panels (if appli-
cable).
4. Reinstall pilot shield.
5. Reinstall bottom refractory panels.
6. Reinstall log set. (Pages 37-40).
7. Reconnect gas line to manual
shut-off valve.
8. Model DSL-36:Reconnect any wall
switch, remote control or thermostat
wires to the top & bottom terminals
on the gas valve.
Model DSL-36-RF: Re-connect the
(2) wires to fan cord. Plug fan cord
into receptacle
9. Reinstall glass frame assembly.

10. Reinstall upper louver, upper hood
and lower grill. Page 43.
11. Turn gas on.
12. Verify proper log placement,
operation of fireplace, and any
electrical components.
CAUTION: CHECK ALL
CONNECTIONS FOR
LEAKS, WHETHER FIELD
OR FACTORY MADE.
