Basic tension settin g s apply

program is selected . The tension is
facto ry set fo r best possible sew ing
results using a 100 w e ig h t, 3 ply
polyester thread (1 0 0 /3 ).
The tension may vary w hen using
o th er types of thread such as
em bro id ery th rea d , and it may be
necessary to ad just it to suit the
fab ric and stitch type.

• menu appears
• select Thread Tension
• thread tension screen appears

exte rn al TTC bu tto n . It can also be
placed as a fu n ctio n on the to o lb ar
on the lo w er part of the screen and
accessed directly frQm the screen
(see page 26 ).
