The green eco (eco logy) fu n ctio n
button on the fro n t of the m achine
saves energy w h e n the m achine is
not in use, but you d o n 't w a n t to
turn it o ff and lose the settin g s. It
can be com pared to the sleep fea tu re
on a com puter.
If the eco fu n ctio n is activated , the
m achine uses about 5 0 % less energy.
The screen in w h ich you are cu rre n tly
w o rk in g , all m em ory co n ten ts, and
any o th er fu n ctio n s w h ich you have

Besides saving energy, the eco
fu n ctio n is also a child safety device.
Once the eco fu n ctio n is a ctivated ,
the m achine is "lo c k e d " and the foot
control is in active. The m achine w ill
only sew afte r tu rn in g off the eco
fu n ctio n (pressing the button o nce),
retu rn ing it to the last active screen.
