Straight stitch
• the stitch length is preprogram m ed
at 3mm (in all 16 d irectio ns)
Note: The screen w ill sh ow the
stitch at 1 mm. W hen stitch in g , the
needle hesitates to allo w fo r the
m ovem ent of the fab ric and
actu a lly penetrates the fab ric only
every third stitch , resulting in a
3 mm length
• the stitch length can be sh o rte n ed ,
but not lengthened

or lengthened to 1 mm
• the stitch w id th can be altered from
0 -9
Note: W hen stitch in g w ith a w id th
w id e r tha 6 mm - 7 mm, it is critical
to ad eq u ately stab ilize the fa b ric to
prevent puckering and tu n n e lin g .
