3.1 Sewing settings

Adjusting the upper thread tension

Changes to the upper thread tension in the Setup Program affect all of the stitch patterns. You can also
make changes to the upper thread tension which then apply for the selected stitch pattern in each case. The
setting in the setup is retained after the machine is switched off.
> Touch the icon «Home».
> Touch the icon «Setup Program».
> Touch the icon «Sewing settings».
> Touch the icon «Change upper thread tension».
> To increase the upper thread tension, slide the slider to the right or touch the icon «+».
> To decrease the upper thread tension, slide the slider to the left or touch the icon «-».

Adjusting the maximum sewing speed

You can use this function to set the maximum speed.
> Touch the icon «Home».
> Touch the icon «Setup Program».
> Touch the icon «Sewing settings».
> Touch the icon «Change maximum speed».
RPM
> To decrease the maximum sewing speed, slide the slider to the left or touch the icon «-».
> To increase the maximum sewing speed, slide the slider to the right or touch the icon «+».

Programming securing stitches

If the function is switched on, at the start of the pattern, four securing stitches are automatically sewn after
the thread cut.
> Touch the icon «Home».
> Touch the icon «Setup Program».
