Replacing The Back - Otto Bock Ventus Service Manual

1) Release the clamping lever.
2) Adjust the height of the push handle.
3) Lock the clamping lever securely.
INFORMATION: Both push handles must be adjusted to the same height.

3.7.3 Replacing the Back

Preparatory Work
1) Remove the back upholstery (see Page 26 ff.).
2) Remove the push handles (see Page 18 ff.).
Removing the Back
1) Remove the cover caps and Allen head screws between the attachment angles and frame tubes (see Fig. 55,
see Fig. 56).
2) Pry off the back via the guide bushings on the frame tube (see Fig. 57, Pos. 1).
If the tension is too great, the Allen head screws on the attachment angle can be loosened (see Fig. 57,
Pos. 2).
3) Remove the Allen head screws on the attachment angle (see Fig. 58).
→ Now the seat back is exposed (see Fig. 59).
