3.6.3 Cleaning the Seat Upholstery

1) Remove the seat upholstery (see Fig. 35).
2) Clean the seat upholstery with regular mild household detergent.
3) Reinstall the seat upholstery.

3.6.4 Cleaning Seat Cushions

Standard Seat Cushion
► Clean the seat cushion according to the attached care label.
Seat Cushion with Foam Core
1) Open the zipper and remove the foam core (see Fig. 36).
2) Clean the cover and foam core according to the attached care label.
3) Reinsert the foam core with proper alignment. Close the zipper.

3.6.5 Retrofitting a Seat Plate

Instead of seat upholstery (see Fig. 37, Pos. 1), a seat plate (see Fig. 37, Pos. 2) can be installed on the wheel­
chair for the adaptation of seating shells.
1) Remove the seat upholstery (see Page 16; see Page 16). Do not remove the existing supports from the frame
tube.
2) Put on the seat plate and screw it to the frame using the existing bore holes (see Fig. 38).
3) Tighten the Allen head screws to 5 Nm.

3.7 Assembly D: Back/Push Handle

3.7.1 Replacing/Retrofitting the Push Handles

The replacement of the push handles (old for new) is described below.
Some particularities have to be observed when replacing push handles with another version/variant. These are
summarised at the beginning of the respective section.
The push handles should always be replaced in pairs.
