Chapter 10
When reinstalling the pickup/feed roller unit, care should be taken to the fol-
lowing:
1. The arms [4] must be behind the shutters [1].
2. The arms [4] must be behind the ribs [5].

10.4.7.1 Removing the Pickup Roller

1) Remove the pickup/feed roller unit.
2) Remove the screw [1], and then remove the roller bracket [2].
3) Remove the pickup roller [3].

1) Open the open/close cover.
2) Release the two claws [1], and then remove the separation pad [2].

When reinstalling the separation pad, be sure to put the spring [2] in the
groove [1].
