Parking Brake

If play in brake pedal increases, immediately
make the following adjustment. Poorly adjusted
brake can cause a serious accident.
Adjust the play on brake pedal with adjust nut on brake wire
so that the play is between 15 and 20 mm at the end.
7.8.5 Drive Lever
Adjustment is not needed unless machine is
overhauled. When [Neutral] position of drive
lever is not set correctly, machine will creep for-
ward or backward.
1. Move drive lever to [Neutral] position.
2. Adjust by turning turnbuckle on drive lever.
If machine creeps forward :
Turn turnbuckle in direction A.
If machine creeps backward :
Turn turnbuckle in direction B.
When drive lever returns to [Neutral] while driving :
Remove seat, move tension bolt at the foot of
drive lever in direction of arrow and adjust
lever movement.
