3.7.2 Use Route Monitoring Function

Route monitoring function can be used in doing this operation.

【1】Calculation of Way Point (Calc. Tab)
・ DEST:
This can specify WPT. And the distance from own ship position can be displayed.
・ SPD:
At the Calc. button of SPD, TTG and ETA in the present vessel speed can be calculated.
When entering vessel speed with the value entry box of SPD, TTG and ETA can be calculated in the
enter vessel speed.
・ ETA:
Entered ETA is to display the speed on SPD, which is required the designated arrival time for
the set WPT.
【2】Displaying The Last WPT (Route Tab)
・ Display the arrival expectation time of final purpose WPT in Final ETA.
・ Display a distance to final purpose WPT in Total DEST.
【3】Displaying To/Next Way Point (WPT Tab)
・ Display information of To Way Point (presently going to the first way point) or Next Way Point (next
will go to the second way point).
・ The information to display is the comment of WPT, the latitude longitude of WPT and WPT No.
【4】Route Alarm Limit Setting (ALM Limit Tab)
・ This function enable to set route alarm.
・ Set the Off Course alarm which is the alarm of the course difference in Off Course.
・ Set Arrived at Last WPT alarm which is approaching final destination in Arrival Last WPT.
・ Set XTD alarm is triggered in Use XTD Alarm.
・ Set Arrived At WPT alarm is triggered in Use Arrived At WPT Alarm.
【5】Route Display Setting (Route Setting Menu)
・ This menu enable to set route display setting.
・ Set color of Cross Track Limit Line by Cross Track Limit Line Color.

・ Display Cross Track Limit Line: This selects whether the Cross Track Limit Line is displayed or not.
(※) About MAX. Latitude
When using an own ship's common route function, its reference level is applied to check the latitude of the
destination at received an active route. If its reference level is abnormal, it does not load at even received an
active route.
Note: The common route function is applied from the Display Unit software: Ver. 2.00.
Open the Route menu.
The Route menu will appear.
Left-click the tab to want to use.
The right side of the traveling direction of Cross Track Limit Line is set in
green and the left side is set red.
The right side of the traveling direction of Cross Track Limit Line is set in
red and the left side is set green.
