• Install the master cylinder.
• Tighten the lock-nut 9.
! Rear brake master cylinder rod lock-nut:
• Install the reservoir tank. (Rear brake hose routing: "9-27)
• Temporarily install the master cylinder to the frame.
• Connect the brake hose to the master cylinder. (Rear brake
hose routing: "9-27)
• Tighten the brake hose union bolt 0 to the specified torque.
! Brake hose union bolt: 23 N·m (2.3 kgf-m, 16.5 lb-ft)

* The seal washers should be replaced with the new
ones to prevent fluid leakage.
* Bleed air from the system after reassembling the
master cylinder. ("2-25)
• Adjust the brake pedal height. ("2-24)
• Install the master cylinder.
• Tighten the master cylinder mounting bolts A to the specified
torque.
! Rear master cylinder mounting bolt:
18 N·m (1.8 kgf-m, 13.0 lb-ft)
10 N·m (1.0 kgf-m, 7.0 lb-ft)
