Headlight Bulb Replacement - Suzuki GSF1250 Service Manual

Removal
1) Remove the cowling. Refer to "Exterior Parts
Removal and Installation in Section 9D (Page 9D-
6)".
2) Disconnect the headlight and position light couplers.
3) Remove the headlight assembly.
Installation
Installation is in the reverse order of removal. Pay
attention to the following point:
• After installing, be sure to inspect the headlight beam.
Refer to "Headlight Beam Adjustment (Page 9B-5)".

Headlight Bulb Replacement

CAUTION
!
When you touch the bulb with your bare
hands, clean the bulb with a cloth moistened
with alcohol or soap water to prevent
premature bulb failure.

1) Remove the headlight mounting screws.
2) Disconnect the headlight coupler (1) and position
light coupler (2).
3) Remove the position light socket (3) and replace the
position light bulb.
4) Remove the bulb socket rubber cap (4).

5) Replace the headlight bulb (6) by unhooking the bulb
holder spring (5).
