15.2 1 System Setting

15.2.1 1 Power Save Setting

Specify the interval of time to elapse before the machine automatically oper-
ates Low Power and Sleep.
Select either Low Power or Sleep as Power Save function to be activated
when the [Power Save] key on the control panel is pressed, and also select
whether or not to immediately return to the power saving condition after re-
ceiving a fax transmission during the Power Save mode.

To specify Power Save Setting

0 Low Power setting: 1 to 240 min. in 1 min. increments; factory default 15
min. (bizhub 500)/ 1 min. (bizhub 420)
0 Low Power will not function if the period of time specified for Low Power
exceeds the Sleep setting.
0 Sleep setting: 1 to 240 min. in 1 min. increments; factory default 90 min.
(bizhub 500)/ 15 min. (bizhub 420)
0 If the period of time selected for Sleep is longer than the Low Power set-
ting, Low Power operates first, then Sleep will take it over.
If the Sleep setting is shorter than the Low Power setting, Low Power
does not function while Sleep keeps operating.
